DIFFERENT TYPES OF DIET

INTRODUCTION

DIET: Intake of proper nutrition for our health and weight management or sum of healthy food consumed by a person is known as diet.
A good and healthy diet helps our body in several ways.
.It helps in protection from many chronic noncommunicable disease.
.It helps in maintaining diabetes.
.It helps in management of blood pressure.
.It helps from cancer.

Healthy diet avoids intake of refined sugar and more salt. It also help us to avoid processed food, junk food, packed food.

There are many different types of diet that helps us in healthy lifestyle.

KETO DIET

The keto diet is very low carb and high fat diet.
In last few years keto diet have become very popular as with grown culture of becoming lean and muscular.
Keto diet have many benefits such as helps in improving cholesterol level, improves insulin sensitivity, helps in managing epilepsy.

Food you can have in keto diet

Seafood, meat, poultry, dairy, cheese, soy milk, almond milk, green leafy vegetables, non starchy vegetables like cucumber, beans, tomatoes, okra, nuts and fruits .

Food to avoid in keto diet

Grains, high sugar fruits and starchy vegetables, chips, honey sugar in any form, bakery products.




CARNIVORE DIET

Carnivore diet is consuming only animal based products and maintaining zero-carb diet.
Only limited amount of meat, egg and some dairy product is allowed.
It helps in maintaining weight, lowered blood sugar, helps in decreasing inflammation.

Food you can have in carnivore diet

Beef, chicken, lamb, egg, low lactose dairy products, salt.

Food to avoid in carnivore diet

Fruits, vegetables, high lactose dairy products, legumes, nuts alcohol, sugar and grains.


PALEO DIET

Paleo diet is kind of old stone age diet or paleolithic era diet. Paleolithic era or old age stone era was when men lives in caves approximately 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago.
Paleo diet helps in maintaining weight, helps in diabetes and muscles growth.

Food you can have in paleo diet

 Lean meat, fruits and vegetables, fish, oil from fruits and nuts, green tea ,black coffee, egg, almond milk

Food you have to avoid in paleo diet

 Sugar, salt, dairy products, wheat, oats, legumes, processed food, potato

VEGAN DIET

 The diet which do not contain any animal product even not milk and butter to show their concern towards animals and environment is known as vegan. 
Vegan diet helps from cancer, helps in heart problems, helps in weight loose.

Food you can have in vegan diet

Legumes like pea, lentils and beans, fruits and vegetables, wheat and rice, seeds and nuts, vegetable oils
coconut milk, soymilk and almond milk.

Food you avoid in vegan diet

Meat, egg, dairy products.


VEGETARIAN DIET

 Vegetarian diet is also known as plant-based-diet. It do not contains meat products.
It include many health benefits like reduce risk of heart disease, diabetes, and sometimes cancer.

Food you can have in vegetarian diet

Fruits, vegetables, legumes, dairy products, salt, sugar, nuts.

Food you avoid in vegetarian diet

Beef, chicken, fish, prawns, eggs


CONCLUSION

From this blog we learn about different types of diet. It is very good to follow particular diet for short period of time because in every diet there are many nutrients that left behind and and we miss their benefits too.
Like we can't follow carnivore and paleo diet for very long period because it include very few items that are not very enough for our health. Take proper diet and live your healthy life.
