Paleo diet is kind of old stone age diet or paleolithic era diet.
Paleolithic era or old age stone era was when men lives in caves approximately 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago.
The person who follows paleo diet eat only those food which old stone age men used to eat.  
There are many benefits of paleo diet as person do not eat any kind of processed food, fast food, junk food, oily food, etc..
In paleo diet you cannot have grains and legumes that are source of vitamins and fibre.

The person who follow paleo diet have low risk of gaining weight as it cut off lots of calorie.
 If person take paleo diet in limited amount helps in reduction of body weight.

Helps in diabetes

Paleo diet helps in diabetes because intake of sugar is avoided. It helps in maintaining blood glucose level.
Paleo diet is best diet for diabetic person because in paleo diet person eats only those food which do not contains sugar, fatty food, processed food and all kind of unhealthy food which are not advice to diabetic person.

Helps in avoiding fast and processed food

As we all know intake of highly processed food and fast food is very unhealthy for our health.
If a person follows paleo diet automatically he/she will avoid these kinds of food. Thus results in better health.

Helps in muscles growth

Person who follows paleo diet have good lean muscles as like paleolithic era man as they eat only lean meat and avoid unhealthy food.
It helps in improving muscular power of man. 


DISADVANTAGES OF PALEO DIET

Paleo diet cut off  grains, legumes, dairy products as these all are very good source of calcium, minerals, fibres, vitamins, etc.. 
Paleo diet do not contain yogurt. Yogurt contains good bacteria that are very good for our gut health. 
Vegetarians have difficulties to follow paleo diet.
It also get expensive to follow.

From this blog we conclude that paleo diet is good to follow as it have advantages that are very beneficial for our health specially for diabetic person. But you cannot follow it for long period of time because as a result your diet will loose many essential nutrients. Paleo diet is expensive too. 
It is best to have balance diet have proper diet feel good and healthy.
