SAY NO TO UNHEALTHY CRAVINGS
INTRODUCTION
When we are on diet or took a step towards healthier lifestyle we surround by a challenge of unhealthy temptation or craving.
When we are at office cafeteria the donut dip in chocolate pull towards itself and your mind says only last time.
When we are at supermarket it is quite difficult to say no to junk food. Craving is every where no matters where you are if you are on diet you will face it.
The only thing we have to learn is how to say no to unhealthy craving.
DO NOT LOOSE MOTIVATION
Be on track why you choose the healthy lifestyle. It is easy to say no only when you know the importance of healthy life.
There are many ways to feel motivated for example there are many expensive dresses in your wardrobe and now because of weight gain your are not fit to those expensive dresses. Make a goal the function you will attend in next one or two months you will only wear one of those expensive dress by loosing some kgs.
Always remember unhealthy food will lead your body towards diseases and health problems. Whereas healthy food will lead you towards healthier lifestyle.
DO NOT REPEAT SAME FOOD DAILY
When we are on diet we usually eat same food like daal chapati or boiled food daily in race to loose weight as quick as possible and because of this we get bored very quickly this lead unhealthy temptation. Try different different healthy recipes daily so you don't get bored with your diet meal and you can ignore junk food.
SLEEP ON TIME
Midnight craving is very common these days specially in student life. Sleep on time to ignore midnight craving.
When you don't sleep on time there is a fluctuation in appetite regulation it becomes poor this lead strong craving. For healthier lifestyle go to bed on time and have enough sleep.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
Sometime thirst confuse us with cravings. If you have your proper diet even then you are fighting with craving you may be thirsty have large glass of water and solve the confusion between thirst and craving.
REPLACE YOUR UNHEALTHY SNACKS WITH HEALTHY SNACKS
When craving hits we go for unhealthy snacks instead of selecting unhealthy food items we should replace it with healthier one. Like you can have nuts, dates or any fruit in place of chips or any kind of fried or unhealthy food. It will help us in two ways first it will stop our craving and second have many health benefits.
TREAT YOURSELF ONCE A WEEK
Having strict diet meal daily also increase our craving towards unhealthy food. So treat yourself once a week this will help you to deal with daily craving because your mind will set for sunday there is a cheat meal, so there is no need to have unhealthy food daily.
