Kidney removes extra fluid, waste and acid from our body. They maintains the balance of salt and water.
And also maintain the balance of minerals like sodium, potassium, phosphorus and calcium.

Food items that promotes kidney health
Soybean
Soybean and its products are good for kidney health. As soy foods can be helpful in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and patients of dialysis as it contain low saturated fat. Soybean is also a high quality plant-based protein. And soy intake also improves urinary creatinine and proteinuria.
Berries
Berries are good source of antioxidants which helps in protecting kidneys. Berries are low source of phosphorus and sodium so also beneficial for kidney patients with dialysis and CKD.
Garlic
Garlic contain allicin that is very helpful for kidneys as it reduce oxidative stress and hypertension. Garlic contains both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that is helpful in maintaining kidney health and show effective result in patient having kidney problems.
Olive Oil
Person suffering from kidney disease olive oil is good for health as it is free from phosphorus. And the monosaturated fats presents in olive oil contain anti-inflammatory property.
Pineapple
Person with kidney problem should avoid all such foods that are rich in potassium, sodium and phosphorus.

Tomato
